What is the best way to slice a whole cheesecake?
Our 7" cheesecakes are sold whole, not pre-sliced. If you have frozen your cheesecake, we suggest partially thawing it under refrigeration, and then cutting the desired portion size with a knife dipped in hot water. Our 10" cheesecakes are pre-sliced to offer consistency in size and for your convenience.
What is the best way to remove the paper dividers between the slices of cheesecake?
Use a knife dipped in hot water to slice through the paper between each slice of cheesecake. Slide the knife under the slice between the cardboard base and the cheesecake to remove the slice. Pull the paper divider from the back of the slice slowly to the front of the slice. Repeat for each slice.
What is the best way to store a cheesecake?
All Cheesecake Factory desserts may be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 6 weeks for best results. If you choose to freeze your cheesecake, we recommend that it be thawed under refrigeration by removing it from the box, but not from the plastic wrapping. We recommend that cakes be defrosted overnight in the refrigerator. Cakes that have been defrosted should not be frozen again. If you wish to consume only a few slices, remove the desired frozen slices and re-wrap the cake so that it can be stored in the freezer. Slices should be defrosted following the same instructions listed here.

Shipping options for cheesecakes
We typically ship our cheesecakes by Federal Express (FedEx). Shipment options available are 2-day air or ground, overnight and Saturday delivery. FedEx will require a signature for delivery unless the recipient has a signature release form on file with FedEx. Only Overnight and Saturday shipments are guaranteed to arrive on an exact day.
Unless otherwise specified, cheesecake orders placed by 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time will be shipped the next business day. Orders placed after 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time cannot be shipped until the following business day. Orders can be shipped via 2-day delivery on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Orders are shipped via overnight delivery on Thursdays and Fridays. We are unable to ship over the weekend or on holidays due to the perishable nature of our cheesecake products.

Our cheesecakes are frozen and packed individually in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice. To ensure freshness, cheesecakes must be delivered within two days of shipment from our distribution location.
If you are shipping cheesecakes to destinations experiencing high daytime temperatures we recommend that you ship your cheesecake via overnight delivery.
