How do I register for an account?
You may register for an account by clicking "My Account" in the top right-hand corner of our website and entering your information when prompted. You may also create an account when prompted during the checkout process.
I have registered for an account, but I've forgotten my password. What do I do?
Click "My Account" in the top right-hand corner of our website, enter your Login ID and click "Submit." When prompted to enter your password, click "Forgot Password." Your password will be emailed to the email address associated with your account

How do I change the information on my account?
You may update the information on your account in one of two ways. Click "My Account" in the top right-hand corner of our website and enter the information when prompted to login. You can also click "Update My Account" in the bottom right-hand corner of the website, under the heading "Help."
Can I place an order without creating an account?
While you do not need to create an account to place an order, we recommend that you do so in order to make it easy for you to view your order history, track your order, manage an address book, and to place future orders.
How do I check my gift card balance?
You can check the balance of your gift card by clicking the "Gift Cards" tab and entering the card number and card PIN in the appropriate fields. You may also check the balance of The Cheesecake Factory® gift cards by calling 1-888-891-2429, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To check the balance of a Grand Lux Café® gift card, please call (888) 464-0359.
What are complimentary gift cards?
A complimentary gift card is similar to a regular gift card with the following restrictions:
- The card cannot be redeemed for cash
- Where prohibited by law, a complimentary gift card cannot be used to pay for alcoholic beverages.
- The card cannot be used for gratuities or tips.

What is the best way to store a cheesecake?
All Cheesecake Factory desserts may be refrigerated for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 6 months. If you choose to freeze your cheesecake, we recommend that it be thawed under refrigeration by removing it from the box, and removing the plastic wrapping and paper collar. To thaw quickly, refrigerate the cheesecake uncovered for 4-5 hours. To thaw overnight, place the unwrapped cheesecake back in its box and place in the refrigerator overnight. Once thawed, your cheesecake should be stored under refrigeration at all times.
What is the best way to slice a whole cheesecake?
Our 7" cheesecakes are sold whole, not pre-sliced. If you have frozen your cheesecake, we suggest partially thawing it under refrigeration, and then cutting the desired portion size with a knife dipped in hot water. Our 10" cheesecakes are pre-sliced to offer consistency in size and for your convenience.
What is the best way to remove the paper dividers between the slices of cheesecake?
Use a knife dipped in hot water to slice through the paper between each slice of cheesecake. Slide the knife under the slice between the cardboard base and the cheesecake to remove the slice. Pull the paper separator from the back of the slice slowly to the front of the slice. Repeat for each slice.
Is it possible to customize a cheesecake?
Unfortunately, our cheesecakes cannot be customized. However, you have the option to search for cheesecakes containing certain ingredients, such as nuts, by clicking on "Cheesecakes" and selecting the flavors or ingredients you are looking for. If you need assistance in finding the perfect cheesecake, please contact our Customer Service team at 1-800-330 CAKE (2253).

May I pay for my order using multiple payment methods?
We offer two multiple payment methods: (1) You may pay for your order using a gift card and a credit card if the value of your gift card is less than the order total; or (2) You may pay for your order using two credit cards.
If you are using a gift card as one of your payment methods, you must use the entire value of the gift card and then use a credit card for the balance of your order total. If you choose to use a gift card as one of your payment methods, you will need to enter the card number and card PIN during the checkout process. You will then be prompted to enter your credit card information for any remaining balance.
If you would like to split payment of your order total using two credit cards, you will need to indicate the dollar amount that you would like charged to the first credit card when you enter that card's information. You will then be prompted to enter a second credit card.
What do you do to secure credit card information transmitted over the Internet?
Your privacy and security are important to us. We use commercial firewall technology that uses Secure Socket Layer protection and 128-bit encryption to secure your information. If you have an account with us, you will also be protected by your unique login ID and password. Please review our privacy policy for additional information by clicking here. Do you accept international orders?
We can only accept orders for delivery to home or business delivery addresses within the U.S., except New Mexico and some postal code regions in Alaska. We are unable to ship to APO or FPO military addresses, U.S. Territories or international delivery locations.
Will you ship to colleges/universities or hospitals?
Although we can accept orders for delivery to any home or business address that can accept FedEx, we cannot support orders to on-campus college/university addresses or to other institutions that operate their own mail centers. To ensure freshness, cheesecakes must be delivered within two days of shipment from our distribution location. Orders that must be processed by college/university or other institutional mail center are often delayed beyond the two-day window. Therefore, delivery to colleges/universities and hospitals is not recommended and cannot be guaranteed.
Are there discounts on volume purchases?
Volume pricing for large orders may be available by contacting our Customer Service team at 1-800-330-CAKE (2253) between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
May I include a gift message with my shipment?
As part of your shopping experience with The Cheesecake Factory®, you may include a gift message to your recipient(s) with your shipment(s). Each gift message (one per recipient) can be up to 200 characters in length.
What is a gift notification?
A gift notification lets your recipient know that a gift is on its way! The recipient will receive an email from us stating that you have ordered a delicious gift from The Cheesecake Factory® to be sent to him or her. The gift notification will include a personal message from you (up to 200 characters in length), as well as a description of the gift you are sending.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
You will receive an order confirmation by email from us within one hour of placing your order online. If you place your order via telephone, you will be given a confirmation number at the time you place your order. Please keep this order confirmation number and refer to it if you need to contact us regarding your order.
Will I receive a shipping confirmation?
You will receive a shipping confirmation by email once your order has shipped. This confirmation will include tracking information for your shipment.
How can I check the status of my order?
You may check the status of your order at any time by signing into your account and clicking "Track My Orders" at the bottom right of our website under the heading "Help." You can also click "My Account" located at the top right of our website, and then click "My Orders." Your order history will appear, including the order date, order number, order status, actual or estimated ship date and total price.
Please note that you will be unable to check your order status or track your order if you placed the order as a guest.
Shipping
Can I ship an order to multiple people?
You may ship items to up to 6 different people or places by clicking on "Ship to Multiple People or Places" during the checkout process. If you wish to ship items to more than 6 different people or places, please call our Customer Service team at 1-800-330-CAKE (2253).
What shipping methods are available?
You may select a delivery date or delivery method during the checkout process. Delivery method options available are based upon the order destination ZIP Code and desired delivery date.
What if I want my cheesecake to arrive by a specific date?
The delivery date selected during the checkout process will allow you to have an item delivered on or before a specific date. Selecting Overnight or Saturday delivery as the shipping method will guarantee the shipment arrives on the date selected.
What are my shipping options for cheesecakes?
We ship our cheesecakes by FedEx. Shipment options available are 2-day, Overnight and Saturday delivery. Only Overnight and Saturday shipments are guaranteed to arrive on an exact day. A signature is not required by the recipient upon delivery.
Unless otherwise specified, cheesecake orders placed by 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time will be shipped the next business day. Orders placed after 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time cannot be shipped until the following business day. Orders can be shipped via 2-day delivery to arrive on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only. Orders shipped via Overnight delivery can arrive on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays (where available and at an extra charge). We are unable to ship over the weekend or on holidays due to the perishable nature of our products.

Our cheesecakes are deeply chilled and packed individually in a Styrofoam cooler with dry ice. To ensure freshness, cheesecakes must be delivered within two days of shipment from our distribution location. If you are shipping cheesecakes to destinations experiencing high daytime temperatures we recommend that you ship your cheesecake via Overnight delivery.

What are my shipping options for gift cards?
Orders for gift cards with a total dollar value of less than $250 will be shipped via First Class mail, which usually arrives within 6-9 business days. Orders for gift cards with a total dollar value of $250 or more will be shipped via 2-day United Parcel Service (UPS) delivery, which usually arrives in 2-4 business days.
Is a signature required at the time of delivery
No, FedEx does not require a signature at the time of delivery. Cheesecakes will be left for the recipient if the driver can find an appropriate place to leave the package.
What are the cutoff dates for Holiday 2009 shipping?
Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26, 2009): Orders for delivery on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 via 2-day delivery must be received no later than Sunday, November 22, 2009 by 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time. Orders for delivery on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 via Overnight delivery must be received no later than Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time.
Day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 27, 2009): Orders for delivery on Friday, November 27, 2009 must use Overnight delivery and must be received no later than Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time. Orders will be charged the applicable Overnight delivery shipping rate.
Saturday after Thanksgiving (Saturday, November 28, 2009): No deliveries will be made on this day.
Christmas (Friday, December 25, 2009): Orders for delivery on Thursday, December 24, 2009 via 2-day delivery must be received no later than Monday, December 21, 2009 at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time. Orders for delivery on Thursday, December 24, 2009 via Overnight delivery must be received no later than Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time.
Day after Christmas (Saturday, December 26, 2009): No deliveries will be made on this day.
New Year's Eve (Thursday, December 31, 2009): Orders for delivery on Thursday, December 31, 2009 via 2-day delivery must be received no later than Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11:59 P.M.
